Project overview

The SalonPE project involved the development of an e-commerce platform for online retailing. The client was seeking an interface with simplified features that would enable the admin to easily add and edit products, update features, manage stock, and process orders. The main goal was to create a product that could be used by staff members with little to no technical training.

"We wanted a digital expansion of our business and manage it with our current human resource. So, we decided to bet on technology to make it easier for our existing staff. Now they work more efficiently and are more productive."

What we did

We developed an admin portal that enables the admin to add and edit products and their attributes with ease. To manage product image uploads, we utilized AIRTABLE, which allows for seamless uploading of images directly from mobile handsets. The automation built into the system ensures that the image parameters are adjusted as per the requirements before being uploaded to the database. After evaluating the limitations of existing commercial tools such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc., we opted to build a custom platform that was specifically tailored to the client's unique needs.
